Blog Neglect

I can't believe how long we've gone without posting anything! Then again, how interesting have we been up til now anyway, right? Well, we're in phase 2 of Shameless (and still figuring out exactly what that means) - the site's been updated, new events have been planned, and I'm making a vow: I will make an effort to bring you fun and interesting content on at least a weekly basis. Right here. Really!

Start by checking out this amazing band from the U.K.: Black Wire

Seriously - no "The" at the start of the name (woo-hoo!). They're on the coolest label ever - it's called Giant Pecker Records! I know nothing about it, but the name is enough to earn it the distinction.

They travel in the same crowd as The Cribs and Kaiser Chiefs, and rumor has it that their hyper-energetic live show inspired "I Predict a Riot." Dude!

Black Wire hasn't even played in the U.S. yet - but they're coming, and we're gonna keep you posted. In the meantime, they don't have much for downloads on their site, but you can look them up on iTunes and get a sampling of their entire CD.
