Bloc Party Drummer in Hospital
All you Bloc Party fans out there, send your well-wishes. Only a couple of dates into thier U.S. tour with Panic! At The Disco, drummer Matt Tong found himself in an Atlanta hospital with a collapsed lung. For the moment it is uncertain whether they will miss only a few dates of the tour or cancel the remainder and head back to the U.K. for some crucial R&R.
The band was touring in anticipation of their second full-length release: A Day In The City. The follow up to their chart topper, Silent Alarm, is expected to release in the U.S. on February 6, 2007.

UPDATE
Sadly, Bloc Party were forced to cancel the duration of their U.S. tour. They will be back stateside for some press appearances and will hopefully reschedule their U.S. dates once poor Tom has fully recovered.
