Did you hear the one about the briefcase in the Jack in the Box?

No joke kids. Several city blocks were closed off around Sunset and Cahuenga this afternoon, causing mean traffic jams in Hollywood. People were evacuated to the perimeter - you've never seen L.A.'s sidewalks so full! Logic would lead you to conclude that the problem was at the CNN building at that intersection, but no... "ground zero" was in fact the Jack in the Box just kitty-corner from the offices. Sources tell me that a briefcase was left behind at the establishment, interrupting several bums' lunches and rushing the bomb squad to the scene. Oh, and delaying my afternoon errands. Can't these wannabe terrorists please take my busy schedule into consideration next time they leave their phony packages behind? Geez!
